Why choose a 15 oz Banner?

Vinyl is weighed, meaning a 15oz. banner is heavier than a 13oz. one, but that doesn't mean it's thicker. Generally, 15 oz. material handles wind and weather elements better than 13 oz. banner material. The main distinction is that the 15oz. material is labeled as blackout vinyl. Blackout Vinyl is not see-through, so it blocks sunlight completely. If you hang this on an outside fence it is less likely to be see-through.
